Teeth, teeth, and more teeth

A large group of hunters took down this truck load of hogs! Look at all the teeth! This group ended up harvesting 13 hogs, most with large teeth! Below is Guy, one of the hunters, they were from Shidler, OK.

Here they are again, except this time with the whole group of hunter. This is a real Oklahoma Hog Hunt! Plus I am not sure how many more hogs would have fit on the Suzuki maybe your group can try to weigh it down!Below Andrew and his son, from Colorado harvested two similar boars.

Rain, Sleet, or Snow Like the Post Office We Are Still Hunting

For a while the Ranch was covered with about 3'' of ICE! Thank goodness things started to melt today! However we are expecting some snow this weekend. But don't worry our road crews are hard at work. As of tonight, I-35 and 412 are clear.

A Family Fun Weekend

We had another great week at the ranch! This past weekend we had a wonderful family from Arkansas come hunt with us. It was a true family affair; grandpa, two dads, two moms, and two sons. They harvested 10 animals! They took down various hogs and rams. They hunted hard for two days using various hunting methods; everything from hunting from their stands to having a few push while others waited on stands nearby. They also harvested this large red hog (see photo below) by spot and stalking.

The weather is still very nice here, the wind has slowed a little. However, we are expecting a cold front this weekend with highs only in the low teens. We still have a few weekends available in the bow area.

One of the latest harvests!

Last weekend Jerry from Nebraska, he took this 150 lb boar hog right before dusk. It had 1" teeth. The other members of his group also were successful taking down another 140 lb. boar hog and a 160 lb sow later the next day. Right now the weather is great here we are sitting at about 56 degrees with a slight wind. It is perfect for hunting, not to hot but also not to cold.
